Wow....Amazing Luxurious Hotel

Wow… this is officially our new favorite hotel and easily one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a very long time! We recently achieved Hilton Gold status before our Europe trip after staying at five different Hilton brands, and we were absolutely treated like VIPs here. We originally booked a King Guest Room – Park View, but just a few days before arrival, we were upgraded to a King Deluxe Room. On top of that, our Gold status included two complimentary drinks from the bar each day as well as a daily hot breakfast buffet. The entire hotel feels like an upscale luxury property and honestly nothing like the DoubleTree brand we’re used to in the United States. If this hotel were in the U.S., I would expect it to be positioned as one of Hilton’s higher-end brands, such as Conrad. Our upgraded King Deluxe Room (Room 116) was fantastic. It had a beautiful luxury-hotel design, high ceilings, an enormous amount of space, a chaise lounge, a huge shower, a refrigerator, plenty of room for luggage, and all the little touches that made the room feel genuinely upscale. The Deluxe Rooms are located on the first floor (one level above the ground floor), which is also where the conference center is located. We actually found this convenient because we could use the spiral staircase to walk directly to our room rather than relying on the elevator. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning concerns about the rooms being near the conference center, but we had absolutely no issues with noise or the location. The hotel bar was another highlight. The atmosphere, décor, and service felt more like a sophisticated restaurant than a typical hotel bar. Our complimentary Gold status drinks had a great selection, including wine, and it was a nice perk to enjoy each evening. We also loved how many water refill stations were available throughout the hotel and how strongly the hotel encouraged guests to refill reusable bottles. It’s a small touch, but one we really appreciated. And the breakfast was incredible! Our Hilton Gold status included the hot breakfast buffet, which was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced. It felt more like a gourmet breakfast than a standard hotel buffet, including made-to-order omelets. There were also several high-end coffee machines that could make everything from a simple Americano to a latte. I’m not sure what the breakfast normally costs, but I would highly recommend it even if you have to pay for it. The location is excellent as well. The hotel is just a few blocks from most major subway and train lines, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The gay/queer nightlife area is also only a few blocks away, which was another major plus for us. Overall, this was an absolutely fantastic hotel experience. From the luxurious room and incredible breakfast to the outstanding service, Gold status perks, and excellent location, we were extremely impressed. We would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!
