02 / Method

We test. We don't trust listings.

“Free wifi” is the least falsifiable phrase in travel. Our fix is boring and effective: stay in the room, run the tests, write down the numbers.

Book like a guest
We pay, we check in, nobody at the front desk knows. 'Business-friendly' in the listing counts for nothing until it survives a stay.

Measure everything
Speed tests at 09:00, 14:00 and 21:00 (the evening one catches shared-pipe hotels). Tape measure on the desk. Sit test on the chair.

Publish the numbers
Each verified listing carries its readings and the test date. If we only have the hotel's word for it, it says so, plainly.

Re-audit or delist
Standards drift: routers age, chairs get swapped. Re-checks every 90 days. One fail flags the listing, two removes it.

04 / Long-stay economics

Weekly math beats nightly math.

Hotels price weeks and months below 7 stacked nights, then most booking sites bury the weekly rate. Search 7+ nights here and it surfaces. And a room that passes the desk spec deletes a second line item: the coworking pass you were going to buy anyway.
