Hidden Gem - Resort in the city
10.0Back for our 9th anniversary celebration at this wonderful resort. We stayed for 9 days and opted for the club access room this time and it given us the opportunity to experience the hotel restaurant & bars. Traders Vic is a gem, the food & the drinks is amazing. Food tastes really good too. The buffet dinner with the theater show really entertaining. Choice of seafood should include tiger prawn instead of river prawn, lobsters or crab. Overall, friendly staff and resort in the city. Grab or taxi to the Siam Paragon area only cost $5-10 per way. Free shuttle boat is available to saphan taksin bts. Once small disappointment we had is they missed our the anniversary decorations for us. Nevertheless, we still will return for our 10th anniversary celebration.

10.0Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious. The food was excellent - great breakfast buffet - Trader Vic's for dinner, Mocha and Muffins for lunch and the pool bar.
− Bathrooms were very poorly lit. Hard to see to put makeup on.
Such a shame
2.0We visited a couple of years ago and loved this hotel so we were very happy to return. Unfortunately the pool is undergoing major refurbishment work so half of it is shut off and resembles a building site. Even worse all you can hear all day every day is drilling and sawing. We had to check out early as not the oasis of calm we were expecting. What a shame. The hotel should shut for a couple of weeks and not carry on this level of work when there are paying customers on holiday.
