− I was not informed about the deposit at check in, and when I inquired about it by messaging the property on booking.com I was told that if Im not comfortable leaving a deposit I can talk to the reception. However, when I told him about it (Alect was the receptionist) he told me that it was hotel policy and showed me the sign in front. I could not find this policy even on their website. I hated the fact that the mandatory deposit was a surprise to us
