The lady at reception was lovely and helpful when we needed more towels and the location was very good.

− One bathroom was out of order as the previous guest destroyed the bath and they had done a quick patch job but the room still smelt like silicon and was quite a strong smell and I honestly do not think they should of allowed guests to be in there. There was also one toilet that wasn’t working.

Excellent location and sizable room. I was lucky enough to have a large balcony for fresh air. Cheaper than most places nearby. Friendly staff and I got an SMS an hour before regular check-in time to let me know I was welcome to arrive early and a room would be ready, which was nice!

− The room was disappointingly grotty. Smeared, dirty walls and mirrors, hair in the bed, dirty carpet, toothpaste-cup circles in the bathroom, unidentifiable liquids leaking out of the portable AC units - which, by the way, are units that are supposed to be attached to a hose to eject air outside, but the hoses had been ripped off and the air was just circulating back into the room. INSANELY loud renovations starting at 8 am. No face washers? All in all, it needs a BIG clean and a lot of TLC - hopefully the loud hammering is a sign of improvements to come!

Good hotel overall, BUT an UNSECURED DOOR was a serious safety risk and significantly affected us.

The hotel overall was good. The location was amazing, and we had no issues getting to or from the hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and room service was good. The Wi-Fi was also good, and we really liked the high ceilings.

− Unfortunately, there were two significant issues during our stay. Firstly, on our first night, the body soap in the bathroom was empty. We contacted hotel service and specifically requested more, but despite housekeeping subsequently cleaning the room, emptying the bins and changing the sheets, the soap was never replaced. We ultimately had to purchase our own. Secondly, and much more seriously, on our final evening the locking mechanism on our apartment's front door failed, meaning the door could not be locked. We were told the hotel was doing its best, but no one was able to repair it and we were not offered another room. As a result, we had to sleep with the door unlocked, which posed a serious risk to our personal safety and the security of our belongings. It also meant we couldn't leave the room unattended that evening, as one of us had to remain there with our belongings, preventing us from going out for dinner and effectively ruining our final evening.
