Ein Traum mitten in Bangkok!
10.0Diese wunderschöne Unterkunft ist etwas absolut einmaliges! Wer das versäumt, hat selbst schuld! Natürlich ist es nichts für Luxus-Schnallen und Modern Style Feteschisten! Es ist ein altes Schiff, wunderschön mit Teakholz ausgebaut, dass direkt in der Nähe des Palastes an einem eigenen Pier auf dem Fluss liegt. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten draußen zu chillen. Die 4 Kabinen sind natürlich kleine Schiffskojen - aber genau dass macht den Charme ja aus! Eine Kabine mit Doppelbett hat sogar ein eigenes Bad! Es gibt unten ein "Wohnzimmer" und eine kleine Bar-Küche. Im Oberdeck gibt es eine Sofalandschaft. Ganz oben gibt es noch ein Sonnendeck und am Bug ebenfalls Sitzmöglichkeiten. Roger ist ein unglaublich netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber! Es ist eine Freude mit ihm am Abend noch draußen zu sitzen, auf dem Chaopraya Fluss dem Treiben zuzuschauen und sich über Gott und die Welt zu unterhalten. Auch ein Bierchen kann man dort bekommen! Für mich gibt es in Bangkok bisher nichts, was diesen wunderbaren Ort noch toppen könnte! Und bei aller Individualität ist diese Unterkunft super nah an diversen Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten von Bangkok und perfekt an das öffentliche Nahverkehrssystem angebunden.
− Für mich kein Problem - aber wer sehr leicht seekrank wird, sollte sich klar machen, dass ein Schiff eben auch manchmal schaukelt. Bei sehr regem Bootsverkehr kann es auch mal viele größere Wellen heben! Aber auch dafür hat Roger vorgesorgt und hält entsprechende Pillen bereit...
Unique and peaceful yet located in the city center
10.0A unique experience located in the heart of Bangkok. Yes you might sacrifice a little room size compared to a traditional hotel but here you can sit on the roof of the boat at sunset, watch the flying foxes and forget the hustle an bustle of Bangkok for a short while. Roger was an excellent host, full of knowledge of Bangkok and Thailand in general.

8.0This is a unique experience, living on the water. Needless to say, the location is wonderful. Most notaby, however, is how helpful and knowledgeable the owner is. Thank you so much for a lovely time. I hope to sleep on this boat again, if time permits me to do so :)

9.0I don't think there is a better accommodation experience in Bangkok than this boat... perfectly located to everything you want to see...the host and his dog are amazing as well... I had the best time.
