8.0A beautiful hotel in a perfect central location. Everything is finished to a high standard, tastefully decorated, and the overall atmosphere feels elegant and welcoming.
− Our check-in experience was disappointing. One of us was ill, so I emailed the hotel in the morning to kindly ask if a room could be made available as early as possible. Unfortunately, we only received our room after many other guests had checked in, meaning one of us had to wait for hours in the lobby while feeling unwell. Another disappointment was the room pricing. We paid extra for a room with a “view”, but the view was mainly a construction site next to the hotel, with only a small glimpse of the cathedral (see photo). When we raised this at reception, we were simply told that nothing could be done, and no gesture of goodwill or small compensation was offered.
Loved the hotels location. Very spacious rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
