A lovely property that needs to polish its shine

The location was terrific; the housekeeping and security staff were great. The building is quite nice, as are the shared terrace, gym and apartments.

− Communication with the team responsible for guest services was seriously below par. We had two stays here in a one week period, and the Internet was so slow that the televisions was nonfunctional, and it was impossible to stream anything on our own devices. We reported this multiple times over the 5 days we were here - via the Booking app and directly via WhatsApp, and nothing was done to rectify the situation. While the shared terrace is lovely, noise from the construction site next door made it difficult to use, and this is a huge construction project that’s likely to go on for years. The condo itself was quite nice but needs sprucing up - deep cleaning of sofa, repair of wall cracks and walls that need paint touchups. I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been lovely, but these last two times left something to be desired - all the problems can be easily fixed with a little attention to detail and more attention paid to improving guest services. After our first say this week, we would have cancelled to book somewhere else, but we were outside the no-penalty cancellation window so had no choice but to return to a property with no functional television or wi-fi.

De locatie is fantastisch, tegenover Parque Mexico en in een heel gezellig wijkje met leuke restaurants om de hoek.

− Er was geen enkele schoonmaak gedurende ons verblijf van 3 nachten (geen schone handdoeken, zelf vragen om aanvullen wc papier etc.). De slaapbank waar onze dochter op moest slapen was niet opgemaakt (dit werd overigens wel opgelost) en vooral heel erg doorgelegen. Kussens waren niet comfortabel en aan vervanging toe.

The location is excellent

− Communication with the management team was poor. When we checked in the television did not work, the plugs in the bathroom did not work, and the Internet speed was extremely slow, which made it very difficult or impossible to stream. We contacted the management team several times, to no avail. Housekeeping staff finally helped us and we were able to get the maintenance guy - on our final day - to get the TV and bathroom outlets functioning. The Internet, however, was still around 10 mbps. The property can also use freshening up to bring it back to its former state. I’ve stayed there several times, and have always loved it, but this stay was disappointing.
