I really like the old architecture, and renovation of an old building

Beautiful historic hotel! Quiet room despite noisy neighborhood

9.0

the place is beautiful. Our suite was more spacious than we expected. It was great to always have access to clean water whenever we wanted to. The staff is around but you don't see them, which I liked. The machine ran out of water and we used their ring system, it was replaced within minutes. So amazing customer service. They had a kettle, which I loved! there is always a coffee machine in hotels but when they have a kettle for my tea, it makes my day! the neighborhood is very noisy, even at night but we could not hear anything once we were inside.

It was really hard to get an uber because it is the historical neighborhood (which makes it gorgeous! but also very touristy and crowded). It is a lot of one-way streets and traffic is bad in general in Mexico City. If you plan on walking everywhere, then you'll be fine but we were here for a short stay so we didn't have time to walk everywhere if we wanted to hit all the spot. And this city is huge! On top of walking a little bit away from the hotel, we had to wait 10-15min for an uber in average.

Beautiful hotel in historical building in Mexico City’s downtown

10.0

BEAUTIFUL historical building in the best location. Right in front of the cathedral and Mexico City’s main square in downtown (Zócalo). Staff were super friendly and attentive. We had a wedding photoshoot taken around downtown and they offered us to use some of the spaces in the property (such as the rooftop).

Grand historic building perfect to explore the Zocalo neighborhood

9.0

Location was phenomenal; the building is just gorgeous; the room was very comfortable, high ceiling, lovely decor, balcony…

The elevator either did not work or when it did it was painfully slow The terrace has not really been developed, but it has potential… a roof top bar… lights… right now it’s just a concrete floor and some chairs…
