חדרים ענקיים. ביקשננו וקיבלנו דלת מקשרת. היה גם מטבח וסלון וחדרי שינה גדולים ומרווחים. בריכה נחמדה. מיקום טוב. ארוחת בוקר בסדר גמור סך הכל.

− היה לנו שני חדרים. בחדר שלנו כל הזמן היה ריח של סיגריות ועישון. פנינו לקבלה מספר פעמים. לא היה להם מה לעשות עם זה. פעם אחת באו וריססו בספריי ריח וזה רק עשה גרוע יותר כי היה גם ריח של סיגריות וגם ריח סינתטי קשוח. החדרים אומנם גדולים ומרווחים אבל מיושנים מאוד השירותים נסתמים בכל יציאה. גם אם לא שמים נייר טואלט . החדר אוכל במלון הסמוך וצריך ללכת כל פעם...

Ongedierte & kakkerlakken. Hotelkamer met 2 kinderen van 7 jaar en baby 9 maanden

− De kamers. De kamers had kakkerlakken en ongedierte. Het kroop uit de keukenkasten en uit de gleuven in het aanrecht. De kamer was niet hygiënisch. We reisden met een baby van 9 maanden. Het was verschrikkelijk om haar voeding en pap spullen in de keuken achter te laten. We hebben filmpjes gemaakt van het ongedierte en verzocht om een andere kamer. We kregen toen te horen dat er geen andere kamer beschikbaar was en dat iemand zou langskomen voor het ongedierte. Die man kwam letterlijk met een ongedierte spray om de keuken te sprayen. Volgende ochtend kregen we een andere kamer. Die was wel schoon en met beter meubilair. De eerste kamer was oud en oudbollig. Wij hebben voor 5 nachten meer dan €600 betaald maar het was het echt niet waard. Je kan niet €100 per nacht vragen voor hotel Rembrandt Residence Bangkok. Er zijn trouwens 2 hotels van Rembrandt achter elkaar gebouwd. Wij zaten in "goedkope" Rembrandt Residence Bangkok. De andere Rembrandt Hotel lijkt op een 5 sterrenhotel en ziet er adembenemend uit. Voor wat betreft het ontbijt het volgende. Als je in Rembrandt Residence Bangkok hotel verblijft, heb je geen ontbijt in je eigen hotel. Je moet naar de andere Rembrandt Hotel lopen, 3 minuten. Vervolgens is het mega druk. Een hele kleine ontbijtzaal, weinig keuze + gasten van 2 hotels. Het is gewoon niet te doen ivm de drukte. Er staan rijen om eten te pakken. Tegen de tijd dat je aan de beurt bent, zijn er restjes over of niets. Ik raad Rembrandt Residence Bangkok niet aan als je prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding zoekt. Dit hotel is een 2/3 sterren waard. Ik was blij dat we een andere kamer kregen. Maar enerzijds neem ik het hotel kwalijk dat je zo een hoog bedrag vraagt voor 5 nachten want niet overeenkomt met de kwaliteit + je zet een gezin met 2 kinderen van 7 jaar en een baby van 9 maanden in een hotelkamer met ongedierte en kakkerlakken. Dat is onmenselijk. Foto's op Booking komt niet overeen met de realiteit.
